Section 8.1 — Eligibility and Required Data

A bona-fide resident of Liberia shall be entitled to obtain a biometric national identification card if he/she, in accordance with procedures to be established by the NIR, submits the following tombstone identification and related data: (1) Birth Certificate; (2) Fingerprint; (3) Photograph; (4) Proof of citizenship of parents; (5) Date of birth; (6) Place of birth; (7) Gender; (8) Colour of skin, hair and eyes; and any other information necessary to verify citizenship.
