Section 4.6 — Board Functions

The Board of Registrars shall be responsible for the overall management of the NIR, and in connection therewith, shall have the following approval and policy-making functions:

a. to approve policies and procedures of the Registry, including directing the development of new policies and procedures or the modifications thereof;

b. to approve the annual work program and budget of the Registry;

c. to oversee the implementation of each and all policies, budgets, work plans, and other major decisions; and

d. to appoint the Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director of the Registry.
