Section 1.1 — Establishment of the National Identification Registry

That from and immediately upon the passage of this Act, there shall be established a NATIONAL IDENTIFICATION REGISTRY (hereinafter referred to in this Act interchangeably as "NIR" or the "Registry") as an autonomous entity within the Executive Branch of the Government of Liberia repealing PRC Decree #65, establishing the National Identification Card System.
